St James’s Park is the oldest Royal Park in London and is surrounded by three palaces. The oldest in Westminster, which has now become the Houses of Parliament, St James’s Palace and Buckingham Palace.
In 1532, Henry VIII made the park a deer park and built the Palace of St James. Charles II redesigned the park with avenues of trees and laid lawns. It was Charles II who opened the park to the public.
Here in St James’ you will meet Year 2 and Year 3. We enjoy sharing our learning with each other, the rest of the school and home. We learn exciting topics and are getting ready for the move into KS2.
